Dear Madam, My name is Paola Rocchi and I%u2019m an Italian twenty-eight year old girl. I%u2019m living in Barcelona at present where in June I%u2019ll be finishing my first PHD year in Economics. I would like to take advantage of the summer holidays to improve my English , and working with children would be a privilege from both the human and the linguistic point of view. I have done some work with children. I looked after a four- year old child for one year in 2007, and I worked in children%u2019s summer camps in 2002, 2003, and 2004. My English level is intermediate, though I have never been to an English speaking country, so it could be a little difficult for me to understand and to talk at the beginning, I think. My first direct experience with language will be a week in the USA where I%u2019m going to spend the first week of July 2009 at Atlanta University.
