Dear prospective host family,
My name is Birgit, I'm 20 ys old and from Austria. I have 3 siblings and the most wonderful parents on earth =). I get very well along with my mum, she seems to be already my best friend... We often compare us to the Gilmore Girls..so that means, we are the Austrian version....haha =)For the last five months I gained some experience in the US as an Au Pair. Due to family problems here in Austria, I had to get back here...but now as everything is set, I wanna give the Au Pair being a 2nd shot.I took care of 2 boys, aged 8 to 11. My last host family was located nearby Chicago, which is by the way one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to.
I was responsible for driving them to school and picking them up, making their laundry and preparing snacks.
I have to admit that I'm not the best cook. Just very simple dishes, that's what I can do .I would like to become a family member, not just being treated as an employee. I also like to have some free time
