Dear family My name is Winnie Kulola, I am a Kenyan 19 year old girl interested in an aupair position in Germany. My interest of becoming an au-pair is to improve my German language and getting to know a new culture. I have basic knowledge of the German language (Certificate from the Goethe Institute in Mombasa, Kenya) and have experience in baby-sitting. I just finished my high school last year, and started learning the German language. I am the second born of a family of five children (1 older brother and 3 younger sisters). I therefore have experience of taking care of my younger siblings. I always had to help out my family to prepare my sisters. Taking care of my sisters has taught me to be responsible, hardworking and flexible. I have had the pleasure of working with children from 0-12 years of age. I also help around in our family, I can prepare simple meals, help keep the house clean as well as play with children. Dealing with children has increased my motivation and interest in a applying for an au-pair position. My hobbies are travelling, meeting friends, reading magazines and watching movies especially on Saturdays and on Sundays I go to church.
