Dear Au Pair we are a family of three, mum Alessia, dad Arrigo and Chiara, who came around fifteen months ago. Actually I forgot to mention our big cat, so it is four. We live in a five rooms flat, sitting room, kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a balcony and a large terrace. The flat is located on the top floor of a three-storey building. The place is a small village mid-way between Milan and Bergamo, and well connected by public transport to cities and towns around there. We are both working parents living in a quite organised fashion to stay close to Chiara as long as we can i.e. after 6 pm throughout the evening and in the weekends. When we are at work Mon-Fri, we need somebody home to look after Chiara, which means playing with her, taking her outdoors, putting her to bed in the afternoon, from time to time, ironing her small cloth. For a couple of evenings during the working week on Mon and Thur we may both be away for an hour or so. No other activity is required.
